Home-service owner · ex–Fortune 500 product & analytics

I run a home-service company,amplified by AI.

AI didn't replace me — it gave me superpowers.

Many years of product & analytics, now pointed at the trades. I share what's working, and what isn't.

The short version

A product exec who fell for the trades.

For many years I built data-driven products — personalization engines and predictive-analytics platforms — for one of the country's biggest retailers. Applied math and physics by training, Six Sigma by habit. I loved turning messy data into decisions that moved real money.

Then I did something people found strange: I started a home-service business from the ground up. Garage doors. And I discovered the trades are full of the exact problems I love solving — just without the tools. So I started building them.

Now I run the company on data and AI: measure everything, automate the boring, and use it to give my team superpowers instead of replacing them. This site is where I share what's working — and what isn't.

01

Fanatic about the numbers

If it can be measured, we measure it — then we act on it. Data isn't a report at the end of the month; it's how we run the day.

02

Obsessed with the experience

The tech in a customer's driveway is the whole company in that moment. Everything we build points back to making that moment better.

03

Here to watch people grow

My favorite metric is a teammate leveling up. The best tools I build are the ones that help someone become great at their craft.

What I'm building

Real tools, running a real business.

A few of the things we've built with data and AI. I'm keeping the details (and the numbers) for the videos — the point here is what's possible when you point real data and AI at a trade.

People + Data

A live scoreboard for the whole team

Every person on the team ranked by a single, fair score — updated in real time, on their phone and up on the shop-wall TV.

AI Coaching

An AI coach that gives each person one move

Not another dashboard nobody opens. Everyone gets one specific thing to work on this week, in plain language — coaching that scales.

Build vs. Buy

I fired the software, not the people

We rebuilt expensive subscription tools in-house with our own data and a little AI — same job, a fraction of the cost.

Finance

A CFO that never sleeps

AI reads the numbers every single day and flags what actually matters — so problems surface while they're still small.

Operations

The inbox that runs itself

AI triages the daily flood, surfaces what needs a human, and makes sure nothing important quietly slips through.

Fleet

Every truck on the map, tied to the work

We turned raw GPS and job data into safer driving and smarter scheduling — the field finally talks to the office.

I'll break down how each of these actually works — and share the results, good or bad — on social. Follow to see them.
